Conventionally, cylinders
filled with LPG/Gas were sealed by using Aluminium
crimping seals on the LPG regulator valve. This
was not foolproof as seals could be easily removed
and the cylinders tampered with. Moreover, this
was totally a manual operation. To increase productivity
and to eliminate tampering, Baliga pioneered the
use of Hot Air in hazardous areas by crimping of
PVC seals with the use of pneumatics & hot air
sealing systems. The system is totally automatic
and comprises safety features and productivity enhancing
features and 18 such systems have already been supplied
all over India.
The concept of use of Hot Air to seal PVC seals
on LPG cylinders was pioneered (Patent Pending)
in India by us in 1994.Since then more than 100
units have been sold and installed all over in india.
There were fixed stystems on conveyorsin the LPG
Bottling plants.
The FLP control unit is equipped with control accessories
to monitor and control the temperature and heater.
The unit is designed to IS:2148/81 to suit Group
II A/ II B gases for use in hazardous area. The control
system is electro pneumatic, which provides a high
degree of safety as required in hazardous area like
LPG bottling plant.
Four systems are now available for different capacities
as follows:
